Our Green Promise

At Fixmart, we strive to develop the framework necessary for creating a more sustainable world. Partnering with us means receiving our Green Promise, as together we work towards a brighter and greener future.
 
We are committed to using resources responsibly and minimising our environmental footprint. We prioritise sustainability by incorporating eco-friendly practices. Additionally, we carefully select supply partners to ensure they share our commitment to sustainability, such as collaborating with promotional companies that offset the impact of their production through tree planting initiatives.
 
 

A Carbon Neutral Business

We have calculated and offset the total emissions of our business with Carbon Neutral Britain, and are supporting verified carbon neutral offsetting projects around the world.

By becoming a Carbon Neutral Business, we are doing our bit to help prevent climate change. 

 

 

Verified Off Setting Projects

Through the Carbon Neutral Britain Climate Fund™, we've offset our total carbon emissions through internationally certified carbon offsetting projects. Certified via the Verra - Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), the Gold Standard – Voluntary Emission Reductions (VER) or the United Nations - Certified Emission Reductions (CER) programmes. The projects have also been selected based on their direct and indirect impact around the world - not just in offsetting, but also in supporting education, employment and clean water, as well as having net positive impact on the local wildlife and ecology.

 

The Importance of Being Carbon Neutral

In the UK, businesses account for over 85% of total Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions - making corporate action the number one priority in helping stop climate change before it becomes irreversible. Which is why we engaged Carbon Neutral Britain, to measure and offset our total organisation emissions. It has never been more important for businesses to step up and take account of the environmental impact associated with their operations.

 

Fixmart Carbon Neutral Certification

 

FSC® Certification

Our hardwood blocks are made from a sustainable wood source which has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC® C153138). FSC® certification ensures that timber products come from well managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits. 
 
The FSC is a global, not for profit organisation dedicated to the care of our forests for future generations. Look out for our FSC®-certified products, which will be clearly identified with FSC in their title and by the FSC logo below.

Continued Sustainability

We are continually exploring new ways to improve our environmental performance and believe that we can achieve more by working with our stakeholders. Therefore, we encourage our employees, customers and suppliers to join us in our commitment to environmental sustainability.

 

Packaging

All our Fixmart boxes are made from 100% recycled card, plus the ink is made from Veggies! We also work with customer on initiatives to reduce the amount of packaging required for deliveries.
 

Supporting Charities

In addition to supporting carbon neutral offsetting projects around the world, we give 1% of all of our packaging purchases to support the Planet and Rainforest Trust.
 

Recycling

By recycling our waste in 2023 we reduced our carbon by 29.03 tonnes, saving the equivalent of 274 trees.
